Rainbow Circle of Light ๐
I had an amazing encounter with God this week and I’d like to share it with you. I was with a group of intercessors when we had this experience together. It was life-changing – it shifted my perspective about our purpose on the earth.
As we were waiting on the Lord after taking communion, we saw ourselves sitting on the ground in a circle inside one of the chambers of the Father’s heart. It was like a cavern with soft lighting. There was a strong sense of peace and safety there.
The Lord brought to our minds the story of Moses when he turned aside from his day-to-day life and observed the burning bush. The Lord used the burning bush to get Moses’s attention and then he had an encounter with God. It was the light of the fire that got his attention.

I looked at the people sitting in the circle and we each had different colors, based on the frequency of who God is in us. First I saw a light blue light, then a purple light, and somebody else had a green light. Our brightness was increasing, becoming bolder, revealing more. It looked kind of like the light in light sabers. There was bright light in the center, but the glow around each light was different shades – blue, green, purple, etc. I also saw colors in the air around us, crackling like lightning.
Then we stood up and took each other’s hands and we became this rainbow circle of light. When our lights combined, one beam of light shot straight up like a spotlight. It was HUGE compared to our individual lights.

We saw this happening around the world as other lights were also rising up. The amount of light was increasing all over the earth as more lights appeared and were getting brighter.
We received the insight that when the light gets brighter, it reveals things – darkness can no longer hide. It becomes obvious what is not real, what is not true. This light reveals truth – what’s real and good and perfect and beautiful. The Light exposes lies, and the darkness flees.
Darkness has to flee in the face of all the colors of the truth.
We are the sons and daughters of the light, with all the colors of the rainbow becoming the beam of God’s love and truth from His heart.
We started singing, โThis huge light divine, we’re gonna let it shine!โ ๐
Then we were reminded of the story of Moses and the burning bush again. We realized that we can be a visitation to other people that don’t know God yet!
We carry the tangible sense of His presence, His peace, His joy, His love. They don’t know it’s going to happen until we encounter them, and something touches their heart and they turn aside. We just carry that presence, that goodness, that touch of heaven and it’s like the burning bush. It gets their attention.
There are some people walking on the earth right now that are literally just glowing with God’s light like a high wattage light bulb. There are other people who are not glowing with that light. Maybe they have a little bit of light, a little bit of truth, a little flame inside of them and when they encounter somebody that’s glowing, it encourages the light in them. It makes it easier for them to see things more clearly, to see what’s good and what’s not good for them.
Those that are carrying that bright light, it lights up wherever they go. And wherever there is light, there is greater clarity, truth, understanding and all kinds of good benefits. Because when you’re in the dark, you don’t know what to do. But when somebody who has the light walks in – all of a sudden you can see clearly!

Wherever we are positioned geographically, we are shining with that light, and the people that encounter us, encounter that light. And it’s not just geographically, but also relationally, because we have friends and family in other places, and when they interact with us, they interact with that light.
It’s not something we DO, it’s who we ARE. We are glowing through our union with God. He’s in our heart and we are in His heart. You can’t help but shine, even when you are having a bad day. ๐
Thank you, Lord, that we get to be You on the earth, representing Your goodness, Your love, Your truth. What a privilege!๐
โจโจ Shine, Jesus, shine, fill this land with Father’s glory! โจโจ
Have you ever seen yourself as a pillar of light on the earth? Which color do you think you radiate? (It’s probably more than one.) Can you imagine someone encountering God when they encounter you like Moses did at the burning bush? ๐ฒ
Feel free to share your thoughts below – I’d love to hear what you think about this. Did it shift your perspective like it did mine?
Remember: You can’t help but shine, even when you are having a bad day. You light up the world around you, just by being you! ๐๐ ๐
Walls of Fear and Lies Hurt You – They Block True Love ๐
A wall that protects you from getting hurt also prevents you from receiving the love you need to heal. Did you know that?
To you it feels safe – you don’t trust anyone so having a thick secure wall around your heart and emotions makes sense, right? You’ve been hurt before and you’re not going to let THAT happen again. I know – I’ve been there. That used to be me, but not anymore.
The internal walls we build are built by lies we believe and they are held together by the mortar of fear. We are afraid to let down our walls. We probably even paint over the wall with pride so that no one will know how afraid we are of being open and transparent with another person. So we look self-sufficient and “normal” on the outside as we hide from our internal pain and fear.

What’s the lie? It has to do with God’s love. Each person phrases it their own way but basically the message we believe is: “God is not good to me”. He cannot be trusted. His Love is not real. Or it’s not for me. Why did He let that terrible thing to happen to me? He’s not concerned with my pain. I can’t trust Him to heal my pain. I don’t trust God and other people to allow God to love me through them. He is not safe. I don’t really trust Him to do what’s best for me. God is not really for me. He just wants His way – He doesn’t care how it affects me. God’s not ________ (fill in the blank with whatever comes to mind for YOU).
To people on the outside, your wall feels like rejection. They try to reach out to you and you don’t even realize the ways you keep them out of your inner world. You don’t mention pertinent information about your life (that feels too vulnerable). You are very selective with what you share. You don’t want your words to be used against you. Unconsciously you miss the social cues for connection with others and you end up feeling more and more alone. But you are used to this – you’ve felt this way your entire life, not realizing love is within arm’s reach. It’s all around you but you are blinded to it in your fear of intimacy and being known.
It’s not easy to break out of that wall. I know – I’ve been there. I used to have those walls, ever since childhood. I had no idea they were preventing me from going deeper with God and with other people. They stood in the way of His purposes in my life so they had to come down. And I had to learn how to make Him my refuge instead of my cleverly devised walls. It’s a process, not an overnight thing. But it starts with a decision to let Him teach you another way to do life.
Are you willing? If so, tell Him right now.
“I am willing to let You in. I am willing to trust You. Please show me how. Please give me the grace to let go of the tight control I exert to keep people out, even people You sent me to love me. I am willing – help me cooperate and have courage. Thank you. Amen.”
Keep saying that prayer every day until you are able to live in His love without the wall. His love is the greatest protection you could ever ask for. I’m not kidding. At first, I was afraid to lower the wall because I was afraid of feeling like a turtle without it’s shell – vulnerable with no way to protect myself. But the more I learned how to let Him hold me in His love, the safer I began to feel. He is my strong tower. I can trust in Him. He’s got me – it’s so much better than my own self-made walls! SO MUCH BETTER THAN ANYTHING I COULD DO TO PROTECT MY OWN HEART. ๐๐๐
Walls are meant to be a temporary solution, until you learn who you are – a Much-Loved Child of your heavenly Father. Then you don’t need them anymore. ๐

What do you think? Are you aware of any walls that are “protecting” you inside? Please comment below and share your experience – that’s how we learn from each other. You are welcome here – even if you don’t agree with me! ๐
